About FootballUnhinged
Opinion and analysis on the Premier League, La Liga and the Champions League. Strong views. No transfer rumour churn.
How it’s made
FootballUnhinged covers three competitions: the Premier League, La Liga and the UEFA Champions League, and nothing else. Pieces are news-with-commentary and pre-match analysis with a strong editorial voice, not reworded wire copy.
Every article is written to a house style and checked before it goes out. The person accountable for what publishes is the site’s operator; the playful names in the byline slot are a running joke, not real journalists.
Editorial standards & corrections
- Verification. Every factual claim — scorelines, fees, quotes, injury status — is checked against at least two reputable sources, which are listed at the foot of each article.
- Opinion vs reporting. The takes are editorial. Where we characterise someone’s decision or performance, that’s judgement, not fact.
- No invention. We don’t fabricate quotes, statistics or transfers. Humour twists verified facts; it never invents them.
- Corrections. Spot an error? Tell us and we’ll fix it, and note the change at the foot of the piece with the date. Significant corrections are flagged in the body, not quietly edited.
